ArmInfo.Armenia's GDP growth is expected to exceed the budgeted figure by the end of 2026, as stated by Armenian Economy Minister Gevorg Papoyan during a press-  briefing  on February 26.  He attributed this belief to the  government's policies, the business community's response, and the  country's growth rate.

ArmInfo. Armenia has acknowledged the necessity for a small nuclear power plant, but has not yet determined who will be responsible for its construction, as  stated by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan  during a meeting  with foreign ambassadors, diplomats, and think tank representatives  at the Polish Institute of International Affairs.

 The World Bank  will provide Armenia with a EUR 70.4 million loan for the  implementation of the "Water Supply and Irrigation Systems  Improvement. Phase 1" program. At its February 26 meeting, the  Committee on Financial, Credit, and Budgetary Affairs of the National  Assembly of the Republic of Armenia approved the draft agreement with  the Bank submitted by the Government of the Republic of Armenia.

 ArmInfo. The volume of work to modernize Armenia's water supply systems has tripled in the past two years. This was announced by Aramazd Ghalamkaryan, Chairman of  the Water Committee, at a meeting of the National Assembly Committee  on Financial, Credit, and Budgetary Affairs on February 26.

 At its February 26 meeting, the Armenian government approved the signing of the Agreement on a Service for Searching for Industrial Property Objects  (Trademarks, Patents, etc.) in the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU).  Approved by the EEC Council in September 2025, the Agreement creates  a free, publicly accessible online tool for unified searches across  all Union countries. 

 ArmInfo. In 2025, Armenia's per capita GDP was 3,666,540 drams or $9,474. This represents a 10.7% increase in dollar terms compared to the previous year and a twofold  increase compared to 2021. Furthermore, compared to 2017, this figure  increased by $5,605, or approximately 2.5 times. This is stated in  the report on the progress and results of the implementation of the  Government of the Republic of Armenia's Program for 2021-2026 for  2025, approved at the Cabinet meeting on February 26.

ArmInfo.Qualified human resources are needed to solve issues in the energy sector - an  energy minister, a deputy minister, and responsible officials. Narek Karapetyan,  Board member of the "Strong Armenia" party and CEO of Tashir Capital, told reporters on February 25.

ArmInfo.An additional 75 billion drams will be allocated to increase pensions,  old-age and disability benefits by up to 10,000 drams per year, as  announced by Armenian Economy Minister Gevorg Papoyan  on his  Facebook page. He also noted that this increase will benefit more  than 660,000 people.

ArmInfo.. On February 25, 2026, a memorandum was signed in Yerevan between the Universal Health Insurance Fund and three insurance companies - Nairi  Insurance, Rego Insurance, and Armenia Insurance.
