ArmInfo. Gohar Barseghyan, Minister of Industry and Agro- Industrial Complex of the Eurasian Economic Commission, participated in the tour and activities of the International Industrial Exhibition "Innoprom" in Yekaterinburg, including the main strategic session "Technological Leadership:  Industrial Breakthrough".  During a business breakfast with  Minister of Industry and Trade of Russia Anton Alikhanov and heads of large industrial companies, Gohar Barseghyan emphasized the importance of coordinated efforts among businesses in the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union. By focusing on  consumers and the ability to quickly respond to market changes, the business community can solve large-scale tasks within the EAEU.  .

ArmInfo. In Armenia's foreign trade, transactions involving precious metals and stones have seen to decline since 2025, amounting to 25% ($1.97 billion) in total from January- May, compared to 65% ($9.99 billion) a year ago. This category of goods has  played a decisive role in the deterioration of  the annual dynamics of the country's foreign trade turnover, which has dropped from a 2.2- fold increase to a 49% decline. According to  data from the RA Statistical Committee, in January-May 2025, the share of imports and exports of precious metals and stones in the total trade turnover fell to 19% and 35%, respectively. In the same period last year these figures were 57% and 73%.

ArmInfo.  Many in Armenia believe that the IT sector is in excellent condition, and there is no cause or councern, but this is far from true. This opinion was shared by co- founder and director of Layerswap  Aram Kocharyan, during a conversation with an ArmInfo correspondent at Tech Week Vanadzor-2025.

ArmInfo. The net flow of total foreign investment in the real sector of the Armenian economy decreased in January-March 2025 by 14.3% year-on-year, to positive $98.1 million (38.4 billion drams) from positive $114 million (44.8 billion drams). At the same time, the net flow of foreign direct investment (FDI) went from negative $73.3 million (28.8 billion drams) to positive $14.6 million (5.7 billion drams), increasing 2.2 times year-on-year. This is evidenced by the data of the RA Statistical Committee, indicated as a net flow, meaning the difference between attracted and repaid foreign investments.
