ArmInfo. Over the past 3 days, 69 trucks with cognac have departed from the Georgian customs checkpoint Gezi and are now en route to the Upper Lars checkpoint, as reported by  Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan.  In a post on social  media, Papoyan mentioned that efforts are being made with the Georgian side to expedite  the passage of Armenian heavy trucks. 

ArmInfo. On June 27, the Minister of Economy of the Republic of Armenia, Gevorg Papoyan, received the  head of the World Bank  Country office in Armenia, Caroline Geginat, who is concluding her mission in the country. Deputy Minister Lilia Sirakanyan was also present at the meeting, according to the press service of the department.

ArmInfo. On the Armenian interbank currency market, there has been  a decrease in dollar transactions and a significant increase in ruble transactions. Euro transactions have not been conducted for a month. Specifically, the weekly trend for ruble transactions shifted from a 73.3% decline to a 5.3-fold increase, while dollar transactions went from a 2.3-fold increase to a 41% decline. As a result, ruble transactions are now prevailing over dollar transactions  by 2 times, whereas just a week ago, dollar transactions were ahead of  ruble transactions by 4.3  times.

ArmInfo. A draft law on the seizure of Electric Networks of Armenia (ENA) CJSC has been published on the official website of the Armenian Parliament, which is a classic indirect expropriation from the point of view of international investment law. This opinion was expressed by the head of the public organization "International Center for the Development  of Parliamentarism", an expert on constitutional law Goar Meloyan.

ArmInfo. Armenia will receive $1.5 million from the World Bank (WB) for the dismantling of the Nairit  chemical plant and  subsequent chemical cleaning of the soil. During a regular session on June 26, the Cabinet of Ministers of Armenia approved a proposal to sign a grant-letter agreement between the Republic of Armenia and the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD, the main lending institution of the World Bank) to prepare a program for the restoration and regeneration of the environment of the enterprise.
