ArmInfo. The International Bank for Reconstruction and Development will provide a 102 million euro loan to Armenia to enhance the quality of healthcare services.  At its meeting on April 11, the Health Committee of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia provided a positive conclusion on the draft agreement with the Bank submitted by the government for  ratification.  Lena Nanushyan, Deputy Minister of Health of the  Republic of Armenia, noted in her speech that the agreement was  signed on July 25, 2024. The goal of the loan program is to assist  the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia in implementing  comprehensive health insurance and enhancing primary healthcare  services. The project also aims to improve the efficiency of public  healthcare spending  and reduce financial barriers for the population  in accessing medical services.

ArmInfo.  In the Tavush region, in the village of Achajur, work is underway to create a refrigeration logistics center with the support of the UN World Food Program (WFP).  As reported by the press service of the Ministry of Economy, this became known following the visit of the Deputy Head of the department  Arman Khojoyan and the head of the Armenian office of the UN WFP  Nanna Skaun to the village of Achajur. The center provides for  storage, processing and supplies from economic entities of the  region. Thus, its activities will ensure the entire chain - from  production to processing.

President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has signed a law on Uzbekistan's accession to the Agreement Establishing the Eurasian Development Bank (EADB). Uzbekistan will become the seventh member of the Bank and the third largest shareholder with a 10% equity stake. The adoption of the law ensures the country's right  to full and effective participation in the Bank's activities.
