ArmInfo. The Armenian government, through the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure, is planning  to provide financial incentives to air lines that operate routes to new destinations that were previously not served. The legislative initiative is posted on the unified portal of draft legal acts e-draft.am.

ArmInfo. The decision of US President Donald Trump to impose tariffs on imported products will signify an era of fundamental changes in the global economic order.   Deputy Chairman of the Central Bank of Armenia Armen Nurbekyan  expressed a similar opinion in an interview with Public Television.

ArmInfo. On April 4, Armenian Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan  received entrepreneur and philanthropist Nubar Afeyan.  During the meeting, as reported by the  press service of the Ministry of Economy, the parties discussed the  concept of establishing a private investment fund to enhance  cooperation between the state and the private sector. They also  addressed issues related to improving and increasing the  attractiveness of Armenia's investment environment.

ArmInfo. RA Minister of Finance Vahe Hovhannisyan met with businessman and philanthropist Noubar Afeyan, the founder and CEO of Flagship Pioneering.  As reported by the press service of the Ministry of Finance,  the meeting involved   discussions about the activities of  Afeyan Initiatives for Armenia  (AIFA) Foundation in Armenia, as well as potential opportunities for  expanding cooperation in Armenia.  The Minister highlighted the  importance of enhancing the investment climate in Armenia, with a  focus on promoting innovation and fostering collaboration in the  fields of science and high technology.

ArmInfo. The introduction of a 10% duty on goods from Armenia by US President Donald Trump will lead to an even greater decrease in trade turnover between the two  countries. Associate Professor of the Armenian State University of  Economics Aghasi Tavadyan holds a similar point of view.

In this  context, Nikol Pashinyan touched upon the Government's steps and  programs aimed at the development of the high-tech sector,  emphasizing that the implemented regulations are aimed at ensuring  favorable conditions.

Gerd Leonhard, the author  of the bestseller "Technology vs. Humanity" was  the special guest  and  main speaker of  this year's event.

ArmInfo. In the consumer market of Armenia in March 2025, there was a recorded inflation of 3.3% compared to March 2024 (compared to the deflationary 1.2% the  previous year). This increase was provoked by the rising prices of  food products and services. In the first quarter of 2025, inflation  was significantly higher than the previous year's quarterly level -  2% against 0.2%, which was also a result of the rise in prices of  food products and services.
