In the first half of 2024, the volume of mutual accumulated FDI increased from 37 to 841 million dollars. The number of investment projects of Armenia in the territory of the Eurasian region is 10.

ArmInfo. The Armenian government plans to sell its 21.875% stake (1/5 of the total share)  in the Zangezur Copper and Molybdenum Combine on the stock exchange through an initial public offering ( IPO).

ArmInfo. On December 19, at a regular meeting, the Government of Armenia approved the signing of a  convention with Japan for the avoidance of double taxation of income  and the prevention of fiscal evasion with respect to income and  capital taxes.

ArmInfo.A few days ago, the Zangezur Copper and Molybdenum Combine (ZCMC) paid 33 billion 249 million drams to the state budget as dividends to the Armenian government. RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan wrote about this on his Facebook page.

ArmInfo. On December 19-20, Moscow will host a meeting of the intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation between Armenia and Russia. This was the topic of a video meeting held by the co-chairs of the working group on interregional cooperation - Deputy Minister of Territorial  Administration and Infrastructure of the Republic of Armenia Vache  Terteryan and Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Russian  Federation Dmitry Volvach.

ArmInfo. Gevorg Meliksetyan, the  Deputy Minister of High- Tech Industry of  Armeniamet with   Natalia Mochu, the Regional Director of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) for the CIS countries, to discuss the potential for Armenia to participate in future ITU programs.  As reported by the press service of the Ministry, during the discussion the parties discussed upcoming actions to be implemented in Armenia  and reached an agreement on expanding mutual cooperation.

ArmInfo. The IMF Executive Board completed the forth review under the Stand-By Arrangement (SBA)  with Armenia, providing the country with access to SDR 18.4 million (about US $24.12 million).
