ArmInfo.  The net inflow of private transfers to Armenia in January-December 2025 increased by 8.6% (compared to a 9% decline in 2024), exceeding $1.6 billion.   Moreover,  non-commercial transfers also experienced a positive  trend,  shifting from a 35% decline to a 25% increase, reaching  $714.1 million in absolute terms. The share of the latter in the  total net inflow rose from 38% to 44% over the year (compared to 53%  in 2023 and 67% in 2022), as reported by the Central Bank of the  Republic of Armenia.

Arsen Torosyan, RA Minister of Labor and Social Affairs,  announced these figures  during a working meeting on February 4  initiated by the ruling "Civil Contract' party, citing data from the  Unified Social Services Center. He noted that this significant volume  of  vacancies is driven by numerous complex factors.

Austrian alliance: GRAWE Group takes control of LIGA Insurance to build regional hub

ArmInfo. The Austrian  financial concern GRAWE Group and C-Quadrat Investment Group   acquired 100% of the shares of LIGA Insurance. The deal was approved  by the Central Bank of Armenia on January 30, 2020. During a press  conference on February 3, Central Bank Chairman Martin Galstyan noted  that the deal was preceded by eighteen months of negotiations and  collaboration.  As noted, the company will retain the name LIGA  Insurance for now, but with the branding "Member of GRAWE Group": 75%  Equity: LIGA GRAWE Group and 25% Equity: C-Quadrat Investment Group.
