ArmInfo.According to preliminary data from the RA Statistics Committee, nominal wages in Armenia in January-December 2025, compared to the same period in 2024, slowed in growth to 5.6% (from 6.4% in 2024 and 14.6% in 2023), averaging 303,140 drams ($783, compared to $731 in 2024 and $688 in  2023).  

ArmInfo. In Armenia, economic activity growth accelerated to 9.1% in January-December 2025 (from 8% in 2024). During this period, foreign trade experienced a double-digit decline, contrasting with the high growth recorded a year prior. According to preliminary data from the RA Statistics  Committee, the construction and services sectors were the main growth drivers, while  the industrial and agricultural sectors provided more  moderate contributions.

ArmInfo.  Team Telecom Armenia, seeking to clarify some comments and assessments circulating in the press regarding changes in payment acceptance methods that are causing public concern, states: the terms offered to Team Telecom Armenia by  payment processing companies Fast Shift LLC, Idram LLC, EasyPay LLC,  and Telcell OJSC (Fast Shift, Idram, EasyPay, Telcell) implied  significantly higher service rates than those applied by these same  companies, for instance, to utility companies, as noted in a  statement issued by Telecom Armenia.

ArmInfo.  In the Armenian interbank foreign exchange market from January 26-30, 2026, dollar transactions continued to decline, and ruble transactions also saw a  decline. However, after a month and a half of inactivity, euro  transactions resumed. Specifically, the decrease in dollar  transactions slowed from 65% to 44%, and the trend in ruble  transactions shifted from a 29% increase to a 20% decrease.

ArmInfo. During a press conference on January 30, Tigran Petrosyan, Head of Armenia's Food Safety Inspection Body, reported that approximately 8 tons of meat obtained outside of regulated slaughterhouses were confiscated  and destroyed in 2025.
