ArmInfo. The Armenian government will reimburse the costs of ISO certification (9001, 14001, 22000, FSSC 22000), as well as Global G.A.P. certification, organic and halal certification, and certification for the light  industry. ArmInfo. The Armenian Water Committee held a meeting with a delegation from the Asian Development Bank (ADB), led by Laziza Sabirova, the newly appointed ADB Resident Mission Director in Armenia.

ArmInfo. Armenia's gross international reserves (GIR) increased by 64% year-on-year, or $2.15 billion, by March 2026, setting a new record of $5.521 billion. In the same period of 2025, they declined by 0.3%, or $9.4 million, to  $3.372 billion. In February alone, GIR increased by 6.5% (or $335.2  million), compared to a slight increase of 0.8% (or $27.3 million) a  year earlier.

ArmInfo.  A government decision came into effect on April 1, significantly reducing the property tax for electric vehicles under the new calculation procedure. This was announced by Narek Sargsyan, press secretary of the Armenian Ministry of Internal Affairs.

ArmInfo.  The World Bank's Board of Executive Directors today approved the $200 million (EUR 170.3 million) Economic Transformation Development Policy Operation to support Armenia's transition toward a more competitive, and globally integrated economy that manages emissions responsibly. In addition, the OPEC Fund intends to provide parallel financing of up to $92.8  million equivalent (EUR 80 million), bringing the total support  package to approximately $290 million (EUR 250 million).

ArmInfo. Armenia has lifted restrictions on residential construction on plots smaller than 400 square meters. The RA Urban Development Committee announced the corresponding amendments to the building codes "Urban Development. Planning and Construction of Urban and Rural Development."

ArmInfo. On March 30, Ani Makaryan, CEO of the  Central Depository of Armenia (CDA), and Sherali Abdujabbarov, CEO the Central  Securities Depository of Uzbekistan (UzCSD), have signed a cooperation agreement, under which the CDA will open a foreign nominee account at the UzCSD. This will enable the  registration and safekeeping of securities, as well as the servicing of transactions and the execution of corporate actions in accordance with international standards.

ArmInfo.  Acba Bank and Amundi-Acba Asset Management have allocated a total of $45 million to Firebird to support the development of an artificial intelligence (AI) infrastructure in Armenia. Specifically, Acba Bank contributed $25 million, and Amundi-ACBA Asset Management $20 million, according to a  statement from Acba Bank.
