ArmInfo. Armenia generated 8,156.9 million kWh of electricity in January-October 2025, a 7.9% increase compared to the same period last year, as evidenced by data from the Statistical Committee of the Republic of Armenia. In October alone, power generation decreased by 5.4% to 801.3 million kWh.

Compared to November 2024, higher inflation of 3.1% was recorded in the Armenian consumer market in November 2025 (compared to 1.4% a year ago), driven largely by rising prices for food products and services in transportation, tourism, and beauty salons. According to statistical data for the current year, annual inflation has accelerated month after month, yet remains within the target threshold of 3% with an acceptable deviation range of +/- 1 percentage point. Recall, this new inflation target will be in effect from 2025, while prior to that, a higher 4% target (with an acceptable deviation range of +/- 1.5 percentage points) had been in effect for many years.

ArmInfo. After experiencing double-digit growth of 11.7% in January-October 2024, Armenia's industrial sector saw a 3% decline in the same period of 2025, totaling 2.4 trillion drams ($6.2 billion). In October alone, the industrial sector grew by 20.8%, reaching 353 billion drams ($922.4 million). According to data from the RA Statistics Committee, the deterioration in dynamics was primarily due to a decline in the dominant manufacturing industry. Meanwhile, the mining and open-pit mining industry recovered from an 8.1% decrease in January-October 2025 to a 1.2% increase, reaching 410.7 billion drams. In October alone, there was a growth of 4.1% , reaching 50.2 billion drams.

ArmInfo. The Executive Board of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) approved a new three-year SBA (Stand-By Arrangement) with Armenia amounting to SDR 128.8 million, or approximately $175 million (100% of Armenia's IMF quota). The IMF also completed the previous, sixth review of the SBA,
set to expire on December 11, 2025, as noted in a statement issueed by the IMF.

ArmInfo. The Armenian government plans to receive a ?100 million credit line from the French Development Agency (FDA) for the development of the water and agriculture sectors. An additional ?12.4 million will be received as a grant from the EU. The Cabinet of Ministers approved the proposal to sign Framework Agreement No. CAM 1029 for an unconfirmed credit line between the RA and the FDA at its regular meeting on December 4. It should be noted that today the government amended another loan agreement with the FDA for ?150 million to receive funds in the current fiscal year.
