ArmInfo.Since February 1, the tariff for electricity has increased in Armenia. At the same time, from January 1, the water tariff increased by 20.47 drams, and from  April 1, the gas tariff is expected to increase, and inflation in  January-December 2021 amounted to 7.2%.  Meanwhile, the Armenian  government refused to raise the minimum wage and index pensions,  referring to the lack of appropriate resources at this stage.

Central Bank of Armenia raised refinancing rate from 7.75% to 8%

ArmInfo. The Central Bank of Armenia raised the refinancing rate by 0.25 percentage points, setting it at 8%. As the press service of the Central Bank of Armenia  told ArmInfo, this decision was made on February 2 at a meeting of  the Board of the Central Bank of Armenia.
