World Bank: In Armenia`s financial sector, structure and growth rate  of loans signal signs of overheating

ArmInfo. Armenia's financial sector is stable due to high loan growth, a low share of non-performing loans (NPLs), and strong capital buffers. However, the high rate of loan growth and the significant share of consumer loans  and mortgages indicate debt accumulation, which could become a heavy  burden in the event of deteriorating financial conditions or  macroeconomic stress.

Wizz Air launches Bratislava-Yerevan-Bratislava flights

World Bank  raises its economic growth forecasts for Armenia`s  economic in 2025 from 4% to 5.2%

Ban on iron and non-alloy steel exports from Armenia to be extended  until July 3, 2026

ArmInfo.  The Armenian government, represented by the Ministry of Economy, proposes  extending the temporary ban on the export of iron and non-alloy  steel, semi-finished iron or non-alloy steel products, steel in alloy  ingots or other primary forms, refined copper and unwrought copper  alloys, unwrought aluminum, aluminum powders and flakes to third  countries, and defining the procedure and conditions for issuing  export licenses. The draft decision is posted on the Unified Portal  of Legal Acts.
