The World Bank  Territorial Development Fund, with loans from the World Bank,  implements the program "Social Investments and Local Development", within the framework of component II of which 5.8 billion works were  carried out in 35 enlarged communities of Kotayk, Lori, Aragatston,  Gegharkunik, Shirak, Tavush, Vayots Dzor and Syunik regions drams.   According to the Fund, 15 communities were provided with 64 units of  equipment used in communal services, 2 communities - 2 units of  agricultural equipment and 4 units of agricultural equipment, 4  communities - 10 units of equipment used in the transportation  system, 3 communities - 240 garbage bins.  It is also planned to  supply equipment used in public services and agricultural work for  2.5 billion drams.  At the same time, in the communities of  Charentsavan, Megradzor and Jrvezh, programs to build solar  photovoltaic stations worth about 508 million drams will be  implemented. In the communities of Sarapat, Byureghavan and Amasia,  it is planned to implement programs for the construction and repair  of irrigation systems.

ArmInfo. For the third time this year, the Central Bank of Armenia has reduced the refinancing rate - this time by 0.5 percentage points to 4.5%. According to the press service of CB RA, ArmInfo was informed that this decision was made on  June 16 at a meeting of the Central Bank Council. In accordance with  this by 0.5 percentage points Lombard repo rates were reduced from  6.5% to 6%, and on deposits attracted from banks - from 3.5% to 3%.
