ArmInfo. During the meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council on March 27, the first package of amendments to the regulation on the selection of joint industrial cooperation projects within the Eurasian Economic Union countries was approved, as was reported by the EEC press service.
Implementation of the new regulations will help optimize administrative procedures within the EAEU states and simplify business access to financial support. "The adopted document represents the first package of amendments aimed at enhancing the effectiveness of the industrial cooperation support mechanism," Gohar Barseghyan, EEC Minister for Industry and Agro-Industrial Complex, said. The financial assistance mechanism has been in operation within the Union since June 2024. The amendments were developed taking into account proposals from member states and businesses.
The updated regulations unify documentation requirements, increase the transparency of financial conditions, and expand business opportunities by switching to a quarterly project selection cycle. Particular attention is paid to stimulating innovative activity and clearly regulating the work of expert bodies, creating the most favorable conditions for launching cooperation projects.
