For the fourth consecutive year, the Zangezur Copper and Molybdenum Plant (ZCMC) has been named the official industrial transformation partner for the upcoming Doing Digital Forum (DDF), to be held in Yerevan on April 8. This year, the event is held under the motto "Connecting Platforms and Economies," bringing together leading local and international experts, business leaders, and public sector representatives.
In a statement on its Facebook page, it is noted that ZCMC is pleased to participate in the most important digitalization event in Armenia-the Doing Digital Forum 2026-and simultaneously become a partner of the forum on industrial transformation. It is emphasized that digital transformation plays a key role in ZCMC's sustainable development and modernization program. "The digital economy is often viewed in terms of platforms and algorithms, but its true foundation lies in the industries that provide the raw materials needed for modern technologies. At the Zangezur Copper and Molybdenum Combine, digitalization is the driving force making industry smarter, safer, and more sustainable," Vardan Janyan, First Deputy General Director of the Zangezur Copper and Molybdenum Combine, said.
Zangezur Copper and Molybdenum Combine (ZCMC) is the largest mining company in Armenia. The combine operates the Kajaran copper and molybdenum deposit. The combine's ore reserves last for approximately 150 years. For the past several years, the Zangezur Copper and Molybdenum Combine has been among the leaders on the list of Armenia's 1,000 largest taxpayers. It's worth noting that the Doing Digital forum launched in 2023 under the theme "There's No Alternative to Digital Transformation," with renowned international digital transformation and fintech expert Chris Skinner serving as the keynote speaker. The Doing Digital forum is organized by SPRING PR. The goal of this platform is to foster active discussion of trends, business processes, opportunities, and challenges in digital transformation. Leiming Chen, Senior Vice President and Chief Sustainability Officer of Ant International, will be a special guest at DDF26.
