ArmInfo. For the fourth consecutive year, the Zangezur Copper and Molybdenum Plant (ZCMC) has been named the official industrial transformation partner for the upcoming  Doing Digital Forum (DDF), to be held in Yerevan on April 8. This year, the event is held under the motto "Connecting Platforms and Economies," bringing together leading local and international experts, business leaders, and public sector representatives.

In a statement on its Facebook page, it is noted that ZCMC is pleased  to participate in the most important digitalization event in  Armenia-the Doing Digital Forum 2026-and simultaneously become a  partner of the forum on industrial transformation. It is emphasized  that digital transformation plays a key role in ZCMC's sustainable  development and modernization program. "The digital economy is often  viewed in terms of platforms and algorithms, but its true foundation  lies in the industries that provide the raw materials needed for  modern technologies. At the Zangezur Copper and Molybdenum Combine,  digitalization is the driving force making industry smarter, safer,  and more sustainable," Vardan Janyan, First Deputy General Director  of the Zangezur Copper and Molybdenum Combine, said.

Zangezur Copper and Molybdenum Combine (ZCMC) is the largest mining  company in Armenia. The combine operates the Kajaran copper and  molybdenum deposit. The combine's ore reserves last for approximately  150 years. For the past several years, the Zangezur Copper and  Molybdenum Combine has been among the leaders on the list of  Armenia's 1,000 largest taxpayers. It's worth noting that the Doing  Digital forum launched in 2023 under the theme "There's No  Alternative to Digital Transformation," with renowned international  digital transformation and fintech expert Chris Skinner serving as  the keynote speaker. The Doing Digital forum is organized by SPRING  PR. The goal of this platform is to foster active discussion of  trends, business processes, opportunities, and challenges in digital  transformation. Leiming Chen, Senior Vice President and Chief  Sustainability Officer of Ant International, will be a special guest  at DDF26.
