ArmInfo. Armenia and Romania are establishing tourism cooperation. According to the press service of the Tourism Committee, an infotour was organized with the participation of Armenian tour operators, aimed at presenting and promoting Romania as a tourism destination in the Armenian market.
The info tour was organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia in Romania, in cooperation with the Craiova Municipality and partner organizations.
"This info tour was an important step in promoting Romania's tourism potential and deepening bilateral cooperation with Armenia," the Tourism Committee noted. During the program, participants explored Craiova's cultural and architectural heritage, as well as the region's key tourist and natural attractions.
It should be noted that, according to the RA Statistics Committee, 4,920 tourists from Romania visited Armenia in 2025, an 87.2% increase from the previous year.
