ArmInfo. The First Deputy Minister of High-Tech Industry of Armenia, Gevorg Mantashyan, received the Ambassador of Sweden to Armenia, Eva Sundkvist. This was reported by the press service of the relevant department.
The parties considered the possibilities for developing Armenian-Swedish cooperation in the fields of high technology, telecommunications, as well as secure and reliable digital communications.
They also discussed deepening cooperation with Swedish sectoral companies, expanding the presence of Swedish technology companies in Armenia, implementing joint research programs, interaction within DigiTec, as well as opportunities to increase Armenia's international recognition as a technology hub.
Special attention was paid to attracting Swedish experience and educational support within the framework of the EU initiative Safe/Safer Digital Environment, as well as organizing mutual professional visits.
In addition, the parties discussed prospects for expanding cooperation in telecommunications and postal services, as well as in other areas of mutual interest. They emphasized that further development of interaction will contribute to strengthening the partnership between the two countries and expanding mutually beneficial ties.
