
ArmInfo. Consultations were held on September 17 under the chairmanship of RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, during which the draft state budget for 2027 and the framework of tax-and-budgetary policy were discussed.
As reported by the government press service, RA Finance Minister Vahe Hovhannisyan presented the main macroeconomic and budgetaryeconomic indicators and framework for 2027-2029 . Details were presented on sectoral expenditures and strategically important spending areas. The priorities of the RA government and forecasts for budgetary and economic policy were also mentioned.
Opinions were exchanged on the draft state budget for 2027, and various proposals and comments were presented.
Nikol Pashinyan stressed the need for the effective implementation of the programs and measures envisaged by the draft budget. The prime minister stressed that the revenue side of the budget is the result of the work of all public administration bodies, while the efficiency of expenditures determines the growth of revenues and economic activity. In this context, the head of state stressed that economic development and the reduction of the shadow economy must be at the center of attention of all members of the government.
