ArmInfo. H.E. Mr. Hrachya Poladyan, Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to the Sultanate of Oman, held a meeting with H.E. Dr. Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al-Harrasi, Minister of Information of the Sultanate of Oman.
According to the press service of the Armenian Embassy in Oman, H.E. Minister Al Harrasi emphasized the significance of opening the resident Embassy of the Republic of Armenia in the Sultanate of Oman to strengthen the existing ties between the two countries and peoples. He highlighted the historical presence of Armenians in the region and the important role of Armenians and Armenian culture in the social and cultural life of Arab countries.
The interlocutors discussed the potential to enhance cooperation in the information sector. They talked about establishing connections between news agencies and increasing mutual recognition between the two societies.
