ArmInfo. Armenian Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan hosted Charles J. Cormier, Infrastructure Regional Director for Europe and Central Asia, World Bank (WB). WB Regional Director Roland Preis also attended the meeting, the government press service reported.
Welcoming the guests, the Deputy Prime Minister took the opportunity to thank the World Bank team for their support in implementing important reforms for Armenia.
The meeting discussed regional developments and the "Crossroads of Peace" initiative. The parties exchanged views on the opportunities that will open up for countries in the region in the areas of investment, energy, transport, and trade if all communications in the region are unblocked.
