ArmInfo.  Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure of the Republic of  Armenia David Khudatyan received a delegation led by Charles J.   Cormier, Infrastructure Regional Director for Europe and Central  Asia, World Bank (WB). The parties discussed issues related to the  energy, transport, and water sectors. Particular attention was paid  to the government's "Crossroads of Peace" initiative.

During the meeting, the minister noted that a comprehensive working  agenda has been developed with the World Bank, covering virtually all  areas under the coordination of the Ministry of Territorial  Administration and Infrastructure.

"For many years, the World Bank has been not only a financial partner  for Armenia, but also a reliable strategic partner in implementing  reforms, developing infrastructure, and strengthening institutional  capacity," Khudatyan said.

The World Bank (WB) forecasts a slowdown in Armenia's GDP growth in  2026- 2027 to 4.9-4.7% from an estimated 5.2% in 2025 (after a  slowdown in 2024 from 8.3% to 5.9% - Ed.).
