
ArmInfo. Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure of the Republic of Armenia David Khudatyan received a delegation led by Charles J. Cormier, Infrastructure Regional Director for Europe and Central Asia, World Bank (WB). The parties discussed issues related to the energy, transport, and water sectors. Particular attention was paid to the government's "Crossroads of Peace" initiative.
During the meeting, the minister noted that a comprehensive working agenda has been developed with the World Bank, covering virtually all areas under the coordination of the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure.
"For many years, the World Bank has been not only a financial partner for Armenia, but also a reliable strategic partner in implementing reforms, developing infrastructure, and strengthening institutional capacity," Khudatyan said.
The World Bank (WB) forecasts a slowdown in Armenia's GDP growth in 2026- 2027 to 4.9-4.7% from an estimated 5.2% in 2025 (after a slowdown in 2024 from 8.3% to 5.9% - Ed.).
