
ArmInfo. The Russian airline Red Wings plans to launch a new flight between Orenburg and Yerevan. This was announced in a statement by the airline. Red Wings has opened ticket sales for a new direct route between Orenburg and Yerevan.
Flights will be operated on Russian-made SSJ-100 aircraft once a week during the summer season. The first flight is scheduled for June 4th. Departure from Orenburg is on Thursdays at 11:10 AM. Travel time to the capital of Armenia is 3 hours and 5 minutes. The return flight from Yerevan departs at 2:05 PM. The launch of this new route will allow residents of Orenburg and neighboring cities in the region to more conveniently plan their trips to one of the oldest cities in the world, located at the foot of Mount Ararat.
The carrier notes that Orenburg has become the seventh city in the airline's route network from which direct flights to Armenia are available. Red Wings currently operates flights to Yerevan from Sochi, Mineralnye Vody, Samara, Nizhny Novgorod, Kazan, and Chelyabinsk.
